Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm Anika and I'm a DONA trained birth doula in Bangkok, dedicated to advocating for you and your family during this incredible journey that you are on. I am here to be a member of your support team so that you can move through your birth journey feeling confident and empowered. 

 As a birth doula, here’s what I provide:

• Attending your labor with in person coaching, encouragement, and advocacy 

• Emotional and physical preparation for labor and birth for you and your partner

• Helping you understand your options and make informed decisions throughout pregnancy

• Weekly prenatal and postpartum check ins

Originally from the US, I've called Bangkok my home since 2022 and navigated pre-natal and delivery care here myself in 2025.

When I first became pregnant in Thailand, I thought that to give birth you just walk into the hospital, push, and the baby comes out! I had no idea what a birth plan was, what a good or bad hospital experience would look like, or what information I still needed to know. Quickly l realized that things were way more complicated than they appeared. Navigating birth can be quite tricky: finding the right care provider, managing costs, dealing with labor, fears, excitements, everything comes together. That's where birth doulas come in, we are here to help you find your voice in those choices, provide you with resources, and ultimately support you though your physical labor and birth.
